In|Expiration, is a highly rhythmic dance-theater performance that investigates issues of personal justice and identity, the imperative of breath, and the repercussions of race-fueled violence.
Indian Mythology and Me artfully weaves foot rhythms, hand gestures and facial expressions into an interactive exploration of Indian mythology and its connections to our world today. Originally performed at the Ford Amphitheater.
Human Nature is a multi-media dance theater solo inspired by Shel Silverstein’s “The Giving Tree” and commissioned by the COLA Individual Artist Grant and Grand Performances in Los Angeles.
Gandhi was Co-Artistic Director of this modern dance company from 2001-2004, and choreographed several dances for the company during her time with them.
Gandhi created and performed a leading role with Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion and toured with the show for two years. Clips include TV Specials, Interviews, and an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Sheetal played the first understudy to the leading role in the Broadway production Bombay Dreams. Here she sings “How Many Stars”.
This site-specific performance incorporates dance, text, and live singing and was originally created for the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica, CA as a part of their Artist Residency program.
